Health Protection

This is a program that works to reduce and control the incidence and spread of communicable diseases which would include: 

• Vaccine Preventable Diseases;
• Blood Bourne Diseases 
• Respiratory Infections.

The Communicable Disease Control program works closely with a number of other programs under various clusters including Community Health, Primary Care, Maternal Infant Child and Mental Health & Addictions.
