Position Overview and Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Nurse Coordinator, you will use your nursing, teaching and assessment skills effectively to assist clients to attain their optimum level of independent functioning.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse – in good standing with SALPN

• Certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution

• Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Must have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Current Satisfactory Criminal Record Clearance & Vulnerable Sector Check

• Ability to speak Cree is an asset

• Strong desire for continued growth and learning
